Industrial Motors

HIGEN RNM's industrial motors are manufactured, sold domestically, and optimized for use across various industrial sites.
Notably, they have "improved motor lifespan with low vibration, low noise, and the optimal insulation system."

A Domestic Electric Motor Specialist with 60 Years of Technology and Experience

As a general-purpose electric motor, we have consistently manufactured and sold electric motors for 60 years since starting as the electric motor division of LG Electronics in 1963, acting as a domestic electric motor specialist. Recently, we have been pushing forward with constructing a SMART FACTORY at our Changwon headquarters to secure price/quality (value for money) competitiveness.

We have formed a separate development team for custom (customer-tailored) special-purpose electric motors to respond to market changes demanding small-volume, diverse varieties.

The electric motor business is a foundation industry for the country, using 11% of the national energy (54% of total power consumption) and continuously achieving energy efficiency improvements through technological development. HIGEN RNM is proactively responding to the government's energy consumption reduction policies by leading the development of SUPER PREMIUM IE4 electric motors through national projects, preemptively addressing the energy efficiency policy shift from IE3 to IE4 grades.

General Purpose Motors

Standard General-Purpose Motors (IE1, IE2, IE3)

Since 1963, HIGEN RNM has been manufacturing general-purpose low-voltage motors, leveraging accumulated technology and modern facilities. Our motors meet IEC and NEMA international standards and have also achieved UL, CE, ATEX, and ISO 9001 certifications.

HIGEN RNM are standardly produced as premium efficiency motors, designed using CAD and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to minimize energy costs through loss reduction. Additionally, we manufacture special motors to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Product Description

Stator and Windings : Adoption of low-loss high-grade electrical steel sheets results in low temperature rise, employing F-class moisture-resistant insulation.

Rotor : Integrated end ring/cooling blade AL die-casting rotor precision balanced for low vibration and high reliability operation.

Cooling Fan and Fan Cover : Optimal aerodynamic design achieves low noise, low loss, with size optimized for each frame.

Fan Cover : Equipped with a steel fan cover to maintain appropriate air circulation and rigidity.

Frame and End Brackets : Precision machining for accurate bearing assembly and durability.

Bearings : Grease-filled, high-quality double shielded bearings or maintenance-friendly open bearings (for specific models).

Terminal Box : Rotatable structure by 90 degrees, equipped with a gasket for protection and easy extraction of lead wires.

Nameplate and Painting : Use of stainless steel nameplates and application of high-quality anti-corrosive painting.

Explosion-proof motors are designed to withstand internal explosions caused by explosive gases without allowing the flame to propagate to the external explosive atmosphere, requiring high precision.

HIGEN RNM have acquired ATEX certification, a standard in Korea and Europe, for all low-voltage motor types up to 310kW.
